The Cairns Ukulele Festival has partnered with Cairns Festival, in a bid to bring the ukulele joy to more people. The Mobile Ukulele Unit was launched in the week before the Cairns Ukulele Festival, with workshops conducted by Mike Jackson. The Mobile Ukulele Unit ukuleles made their debut at the Cairns Ukulele Festival World Record Attempt July 2nd 2011.
