It’s going to be another big ukulele extravaganza today!

Of course there is the Ports North Finale Concert today at 3pm (doors open 2.20pm), with Taimane, Sarah Maisel and band and Tiffany Ann Smith with the Montgomery Brothers.

But, before that, there will be the Luna Australian Ukulele Showcase in the back bar of the Cape York Hotel and a footpath jam at the front.

Various acts from around the country will take dining room stage and perform a short of their best material.

Expect a plethora of musical styles from laid back Aussie bush to high energy rock and roll.

The Luna showcase runs between 11am and 2pm (so plenty of time to get to Taimane’s concert which is within walking distance) and the Bad Boys jam starts at midday.

The pub will be serving all day breakfast from 11am.
