Cairns Ukulele Festival is having a break

Standard

The Cairns Ukulele Festival organisers have decided to have a break in 2015.

After six years of enormously hard work and five very successful festivals, the organisers have made the tough call to regroup, redevelop, and recuperate (and play uke!).

Realising that that their decision will disappoint quite a few people around the country and from overseas, they did not arrive at this decision easily, but promise to make up for it in the future with some fresh and exciting ideas for 2016 being worked on already. Stay tuned and thank you for your support!

  1. Good thinking team. Having run a comedy festival every year for ten years, we totally understand. Have fun just playing your ukes for a while, get re-energised and go again in 2016 or when you can!

  3. I went to my first last year and was amazed at how wonderfully busy you kept everyone. Must have been huge for you. I had a ball and look forward to next time. Jac. Townsville.
