Uke ‘n Play (absolute beginners) workshop
Come along and learn to play the ukulele in an instant! Hosted by the famous Mike Jackson, you will learn how to play ukulele in 5 minutes.
The workshop takes place on the Esplanade, in a big marquee next to the Lagoon.
These shows are for all ages.
10am: Uke’n Play Ukulele Workshops Whether you’re 6 or 96, in 5 minutes you’ll be happily strumming along on this joyous little instrument
11am: Dr Knickerbocker’s String Magic Musical fun and games plus Mike shares heaps of holiday fun tricks and games with just a loop of string.
Bad Boys and Girls of Uke Jam
Join the regular Bad Boys and Girls of Uke jam at beach front cafe Strait on the Beach at Holloways Beach. We get together every Wednesday and play mostly from the “Ukulele Club Songbook” by Sasha Publishing.
Starts at around 6pm.
This is a restaurant so join us for a meal and a drink if you like.
