Brittni PaivaAt 21 years of age, Brittni Paiva is already the preeminent female ukulele player from Hawaii. She’s an award-winning multi-instrumentalist whose sound and concept are influenced by jazz, rock, flamenco, and classical music as well as world music from Brazil, Japan, and elsewhere. At this tender age, she has already got 4 albums to her name, showing off her skill, not only on the ukulele but also on bass, guitar, piano and drums. The Cairns Ukulele Festival is held in Cairns, North Queensland Australia. The festival runs for several days and comprises a range of events, such as tours of the region and concerts by ukulele royalty from around the globe. Venues are on the Great Barrier Reef, in tropical rainforest and have views over the Pacific Ocean.
