We have just uploaded our compilation videos with highlights of the 2010 Cairns Ukulele Festival. They are added to the already impressive collection of videos made by others on our web site.

Part 1

Part 1 covers among other things, the Uke Art Exhibition, uke building course, Great Adventures Green Island Gig, and the World Record attempt.

Part 2

Part 2 covers the concert at the Tanks Arts Centre and features the Old Spice Boys, Daniel Ho, Jason Arimoto, James Hill and Anne Davison.

The Cairns Ukulele Festival is held in Cairns, North Queensland Australia. The festival runs for several days and comprises a range of events, such as tours of the region and concerts by ukulele royalty from around the globe. Venues are on the Great Barrier Reef, in tropical rainforest and have views over the Pacific Ocean.

  1. We travelled all the way from Sydney (Balmain Uke Club) to the Cairns Ukelele Festival and enjoyed every single minute of it.

    These 2 video series are a great representation of the festival. We were sitting three rows from the front for the concerts and were blown away time n time again.

    Looking forward to the next festival and can’t wait for us to organise a festival here in Sydney too!
