  1. Woohoo! I had a great time at the first Cairns Ukulele Festival and amazed myself by surviving the Build-a-Ukulele course and creating a lovely sounding+looking ukulele.
I will definitely be flying from the frozen south to be there next year.Best wishes for your next festival….ArtofUke

  2. Hi,
Have recently heard of your festival and it sounds wonderful.
Would like to have notification when tickets become available for the 2011 festival and would also like to be a participant in the ukulele making workshop.
    Thankyou.
    Kind regards.

  3. I missed the first festival, but I won’t be missing the next one. Travel:30 hours on a train, Accommodation: lots of money, tickets to the Cairns Ukulele festival 2011: priceless.

  4. Hello ukers……I stayed at a couple of the backpackers and they were cheap and ok if you don’t mind a bunk bed in a dormitory. It was good to have a kitchen to cook in. This cut down on expensive eating out. There are several backpackers on The Esplanade that are walking distance to supermarkets, pubs, some festival venues. The Saturday Esplanade market is a MUST.The Esplanade public pool is wonderful. The Night Markets on the Esplanade offer cheap food and astonishingly cheap Chinese massage.Great for the weary musician.I’ve already booked my Esplanade accom.
