  1. Hi,
I will be in Cairns on Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th July,
Are there any performances I could attend on either of these days?
    Look forward to your reply
    Many Thanks
    PETER

    • There are no formal performances Wednesday night. Thursday night we’ll be at the Hilton for the opening night.

  3. Hi .. awesome program and line up. I’ll be teaching (primary) up to the 5th but would like to attend Sarah Maisel’s three workshops on the 6th and 7th. I see there is a community concert day and a party night on the 6th plus the finale on the 7th. Will there be open mic sessions and networking opportunities etc during this time? Is accomodation for the three nights going to be a difficulty? You know the sort of place … nearby, ‘nice’ and affordable … where all the movers and groovers hang out. I suppose the real question is … where will I get the energy from? Sarah’s workshops alone will be worth it. Cheers, Al

    • Hi Al,

Good to hear from you and pleased to see you are travelling up for the festival! Yes, next week we will be filling in the ‘gaps’ in the program, indeed with open mic opportunities. Cairns is a tourist destination and there are accommodation options to suit all budgets. Quite a few people are staying at the Hilton, but there are plenty alternate places to choose from. Perhaps post your question on the festival FB and see where the others are staying?

      See you soon,

      Gaby
