  3. I’m a rural music teacher who is attending Cairns Music Education Conference on the same weekend (which my school is paying for) and I will be attending that during the day, will it be possible to attend night-time performances etc without having to purchase a pass for the entire weekend, or can I just purchase entry at the door?

I’m paying extra to the school to get to Cairns a day earlier than needed so I can do the Low Isles Uke tour (MUCHO EXCITEMENT!)

    • Lucky you! Yes each event will be ticketed separately and some will be free to attend to you’ll be fine! See you in a few months!

  4. I’m wanting to know a camp /van. Park near cairns that allows pets. Also do I have to register for the world record and where? Thankyou. Gwynnyth

    • This is what I found on the net:

      BILLABONG CARAVAN PARK
      Captain Cook Highway, Clifton Beach
      Phone (07) 4055 3737 / Fax (07) 4059 1165
Dogs are welcome as long as they are always on a lead and under control, droppings to be cleaned up. $20 bond and a $3 park registration fee applies. Cats are not allowed and only some birds, always kept on cages, are welcome.
